Stanley Cup Final 2016 - Logo Edition

This month we have the NHL Stanley Cup final. Four games so far and the San Jose Sharks are fighting for their lives against a very strong Pittsburgh Penguins' squad captained by Sidney Crosby. Next Thursday is game five at the SAP center in California where the Penguins will have their first opportunity to be crowned champions for the 4th time in franchise history.

Now lets leave aside the rivalry inside the rink and lets talk strictly design wise. A logo is very important for any team. Who do you think has the best logo? Which one is more intimidating? Or has more style?

The Penguins are currently on their 6th logo. Even though it's practically the same one as their 3rd logo, it's fair to say that this is a clean, simple and elegant design. Although very audacious to officially get rid of the yellow and switching it to gold.

Is it the best one? Or do you like one of the older ones better? Is gold better than yellow?

Should they get rid entirely of yellow even on their uniforms? I don't think this will happen since the city has such a strong tie with that color thanks to not only the Penguins but also the Steelers and Pirates.

Th San Jose Sharks haven't made any drastic changes in their crest since their foundation. They simple modernized the logo and then added minor details.

Do you like it? Should they design a new one? What about the color?

If you think about it, it's has kind of the same style as the previous Florida Panther's logo, and hey it wasn't bad. Suddenly the team announced a new one just a few days ago. And it looks pretty good.

Between the Stanley Cup finalists, which one is each of the team's best and worst logo of all?

Who would you crown champions logo-wise?
